KWE awarded 2016 Supplier Excellence Award by leading semiconductor manufacturer Texas Instruments

KWE has received the Supplier Excellence Award (SEA) from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI), a global semiconductor manufacturing company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA. The annual award highlights suppliers who have provided particularly excellent service and support to TI over the past year. The award ceremony was held at Shinagawa Intercity Hall & Conference in Tokyo on May 26, 2017.
Supplier Excellence Award (SEA)
Presented annually since 1984, the SEA is TI’s highest level of supplier recognition, given to a select few of its suppliers who have made significant contributions in terms of quality of services or products they provide. The selection is made based on the comprehensive evaluation of supplier performance in the 6 areas of cost, environmental and social responsibility, technology, responsiveness, assurance of supply, and quality.
KWE’s receipt of SEAs
KWE has been selected as one of the sixteen 2016 SEA recipients from TI’s more than 12,000 suppliers worldwide. This is the third time for KWE to win the SEA; the first time was in 2007 and the second in 2011. KWE’s exceptional performance and contributions in the areas of global transportation, product distribution, and logistics have allowed the company to win the award.
