The Montreal Convention, which sets out the standards for compensation in international air transport, has been revised, and from December 28, 2024, the liability limits will change from the current 22 SDRs per kilogram to 26 SDRs.

In line with this, we would like to inform you that we will be revising the terms and conditions on the reverse side of our international air waybills as follows.

 

(1) Effective date: December 28, 2024

*This applies to waybills issued on or after December 28, 2024.

 

(2) Revision of the liability limits

Before revision: 22 SDRs/kg → After revision: 26 SDRs/kg

*This change is due to the revision of the liability limits established under Article 24 of the Montreal Convention.

(3) Air Waybill (Conditions of contract on reverse side of Air Waybill)

Air Waybills (AWBs) with the old terms and conditions printed on the reverse side can continue to be used after the effective date of December 28. In that case, the revised terms and conditions of our company's international air waybills will apply.
