KWE Switzerland operates branch offices in Bassersdorf/ZH (Zurich Airport), Geneva Airport and Basel for Sea Freight. Our main expertise is the handling of industrial machinery, precision instruments, tools, electrical appliances and medical equipment by airfreight and sea freight. We as well handle special cargo such as temperature-controlled pharmaceutical products or Swiss chocolates. We offer comprehensive e-Commerce solutions and and handle a big variety of orders on daily basis.

History
| 1997 | 1st of April KWE Switzerland Ltd. started as a fully owned subsidiary of KWE Japan with business locations in Bassersdorf/Zurich-Airport and Geneva Airport with main activity in Air Freight. |

| 1998 | Adding FCL and LCL Sea Freight Service to the portfolio. |
| 2008 | In January, KWE Zurich opened its own bonded Air Freight Terminal with full aviation security status (FOCA approved, regulated Agent). |
| 2010 | In January, KWE Switzerland invented the 'green Smiley' Service in co-operation with the myClimate Organisation to allow our customers to offset the CO2 emissions, caused by the air freight transportation. |
| 2014 | In February, KWE Switzerland obtains the AEO Certification (Authorized Economic Operator). In November, KWE Zurich opened a new Business field and started its crossborder e-commerce activities for renowned fashion and sports brands. |
| 2018 | KWE handles first Railway Freight Shipments from China to Switzerland. the containerized Railway Services develop to an inherent part of our Service Portfolio. |
| 2021 | KWE Switzerland achieved its ISO 9001:2015 Certification in May. |
| 2022 | KWE opens its new office in Basel with the opening of its exclusive Sea Freight office in Basel, KWE is present in the three largest Swiss cities, Zurich, Basel and Geneva. |
| 2023 | KWE Zurich has moved its office and warehouse to Grindelstrasse 5 in CH-8303 Bassersdorf/ZH as of 1 October 2023. |
