| 1997 | 1st of April KWE Switzerland Ltd. started as a fully owned subsidiary of KWE Japan with business locations in Bassersdorf/Zurich-Airport and Geneva Airport with main activity in Air Freight. |

| 2008 | In January, KWE Zurich opened its own bonded Air Freight Terminal with full aviation security status (FOCA approved, regulated Agent). |
| 2010 | In January, KWE Switzerland invented the 'green Smiley' Service in co-operation with the myClimate Organisation to allow our customers to offset the CO2 emissions, caused by the air freight transportation. |
| 2014 | In February, KWE Switzerland obtains the AEO Certification (Authorized Economic Operator). In November, KWE Zurich opened a new Business field and started its crossborder e-commerce activities for renowned fashion and sports brands. |
| 2018 | KWE handles first Railway Freight Shipments from China to Switzerland. the containerized Railway Services develop to an inherent part of our Service Portfolio. |
