KWE Korea received the logistics company of the year award at the 4th Incheon International Airport Awards

Kintetsu World Express (Korea), Inc. (Jun Kinoshita, Managing Director; hereinafter, “KWE Korea”), a local subsidiary of Kintetsu World Express Inc. (Nobutoshi Torii, President and CEO), was selected as an excellent logistics company in the logistics company section and received an award at the The 4th ICN Awards sponsored by the Incheon International Airport Corporation.

The ICN Awards is an event that the Incheon International Airport Corporation has been holding since 2017 to select excellent companies that have contributed to the improvement of ICN International Airport’s operations and services, and this was the fourth time this event was held. This time, a total of 22 companies were recognized as excellent companies from 6 sections: airlines, commercial facilities, cargo aviation, logistics companies, ground handling, and bus transportation. In the logistics company section, evaluations are made on air freight handling volume, ratio of re-forwarding cargo, international operation capability (number of destinations), legal compliance, and safety management. Then, two companies were selected as excellent companies that contributed greatly to the development of the distribution hub of ICN International Airport and strengthened cooperative relationships with it, and KWE Korea was commended as one of them. In this section, one company is awarded for the category handling more than 30,000 tons and one for less than 30,000 tons, and KWE Korea was awarded in the former category.
