KWE Benelux Brussels Branch Acquires GDP (Good Distribution Practice) Certification

We hereby inform you that Kintetsu World Express (Benelux) B.V. (Yasuhiro Fujita, Managing Director; hereinafter, “KWE Benelux”) Brussels Branch, a local subsidiary of Kintetsu World Express Inc. (Nobutoshi Torii, President and CEO), has acquired GDP (Good Distribution Practice), which is a certification for logistics for medical products, on July 14th.

KWE Benelux acquired the certificate at its Amsterdam Branch in 2013 and has since strengthened its sales activities in Benelux, where the healthcare industry is concentrated. KWE Benelux has been promoting a project with the aim of acquiring this certification at its Brussels Branch in order to expand the handling volume of products in the healthcare field, which has been designated as a core-industry of the sales strategies for the KWE Group. Due to the spread of new coronavirus, the certification process was delayed, and we were able to successfully obtain certification on July 14th, meeting all the conditions.
The Brussels Branch has a wealth of experience in providing cold truck delivery and storage service (2°C to 8°C). In addition, the certification obtained allows us to offer customers services for the storage and handling of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical products in a warehouse under constant temperatures (15°C to 25°C) controlled by a temperature management system.
