New Warehouse in Penang Airport Free Commercial Zone

Kintetsu World Express (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Satoru Kudo, Managing Director, “KWE Malaysia”) is pleased to announce that it opened a new warehouse in the Free Commercial Zone (FCZ) of Penang Airport, Malaysia on February 1 2021.

Penang is a focus for investment by foreign-based corporations in Malaysia, and is known as a center for electronics and medical equipment manufacturers. The area is anticipated to continue growing in the future. The warehouse is located inside Penang Airport FCZ, within one hour by truck from surrounding major industrial parks with many corporate occupants.

As a warehouse for non-residents, KWE Malaysia can store and manage products and materials for corporations without a physical presence in Malaysia, and provides high quality service for our customers with VMI and JIT delivery needs. Part of the warehouse area is temperature-controlled, suitable for handling precision electronic equipment, medical equipment, and other freight requiring specific temperature and humidity levels.

KWE Malaysia runs a truck shuttle between Penang and Kuala Lumpur, providing gateway service leveraging the advantages of both locations, and is also expanding transshipment to third countries via Malaysia. We will continue providing logistic services with high quality and functionality to meet customer needs in the future.
