Kintetsu World Express Announces Appointment of New General Counsel

Kintetsu World Express, Inc. (KWE) is pleased to announce today the appointment of Samuel Eric Lee as the First General Counsel of a KWE Group. He will be joining the company effective April 1, 2021. In this role, Lee will provide KWE guidance regarding internal and external legal and business matters. Lee will bring his substantial experience with global supply chain, logistics, infrastructure, and transportation issues to help position the company for continued growth.
Lee comes to KWE from APL Logistics Ltd (APLL), KWE’s a wholly-owned subsidiary, where he held the roles of Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Data Privacy Officer, Group Corporate Secretary and Senior Vice President. He will continue to work with the APLL leadership and manage the legal, risk, and compliance teams from his new position at KWE. Prior to his tenure at APLL, Lee was a partner at the international law firm Holland & Knight.
