Announcement of sustainability and material topics

The KWE Group is pleased to announce a renewed dedication to sustainability within its leadership, operations, employees, and investments. We stand committed to meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. To showcase this pledge, the KWE Group announces the formation of a sustainability policy, the completion of a materiality assessment, and the expectation of public sustainability targets by the end of the summer.

We also simply believe it is the right thing to do.”

KWE Group Sustainability Committee has been established to promote the KWE Group's sustainability activities. Going forward, the committee will take the lead in monitoring and evaluating sustainability opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of our activities.

The Materiality Assessment, conducted with guidance from NSF, International, produced six material topics, listed in the table below. The topics are based on the GRI Standards and were derived from a series of stakeholder surveys and interviews, staff collaboration, and industry research.

The material topics will serve as the basis for The KWE Group’s sustainability targets, which are currently under development with an announcement expected in the coming months. This effort will involve staff from across The KWE Group and its subsidiaries, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors. The goal is to create targets that are challenging and produce results to satisfy the needs of customers, investors, employees, and the public.
