KWE Opens Sea Freight Office in Basel, Switzerland

Dec. 1, 2022
News Release

Kintetsu World Express, Inc. is pleased to announce the inauguration of our newest sea freight office in Basel, Switzerland— official operations commenced on November 1.

As the third largest city in Switzerland, Basel is a thriving trade corridor established near the Rhine River, an important waterway that traces part of the France-Germany border. The city is readily accessible by water and land, making it an ideal hub for some of the world's leading pharmaceutical and agrochemical companies.

In cooperation with colleagues in Zurich and Geneva, our newly opened Basel Office will feature sea freight specialists to better navigate emerging opportunities and markets.

Founded in April 1997, Kintetsu World Express (Switzerland) Ltd. continues to offer premier air and sea freight transportation services for a wide range of commodities including industrial components, precision machinery, oversized cargo, consumer electronics, and healthcare.
