KWE Awarded 2022 Supplier Excellence Award by Leading Semiconductor Manufacturer Texas Instruments

KWE has received the Texas Instruments (TI) 2022 Supplier Excellence Award (SEA). TI is a global semiconductor manufacturing company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA. The annual award highlights suppliers who have provided particularly excellent service and support to TI over the past year. The award ceremony was held at Shinagawa Intercity Hall & Conference in Tokyo on May 22, 2023.

Supplier Excellence Award (SEA)
Presented annually since 1984, the SEA is TI’s highest level of supplier recognition, given to a select few of its suppliers who have made significant contributions in terms of the quality of services or products they provide. Recipients are chosen based on the comprehensive evaluation of supplier performance using six criteria: cost, environmental and social responsibility, technology, responsiveness, assurance of supply, and quality.

KWE’s receipt of SEAs
KWE has been selected as one of the 22 SEA recipients for 2022 out of TI’s more than 12,000 suppliers worldwide. This is the fifth time that KWE has won the SEA following awards in 1993, 2007, 2011, and 2016. During the unstable logistics environment caused by the COVID-19 crisis, KWE’s exceptional performance and contributions in the areas of global transportation, product distribution, and logistics to maintain TI's supply chain have earned the company this year’s Supplier Excellence Award.
