KWE Korea Achieves ISO 13485 Certification
Kintetsu World Express (Korea), Inc. (KWE Korea), a subsidiary of Kintetsu World Express, Inc., has achieved ISO 13485 certification for its quality management system in medical devices at its logistics center located at Incheon International Airport, effective May 2025.
This milestone makes Incheon the sixth KWE Group facility to receive ISO 13485 certification, following certifications in Singapore, Japan, China, India, and Vietnam.
In addition to the certified Incheon Airport Logistics Center, KWE Korea operates facilities such as the Pyeongtaek Logistics Center Terminal 3, which opened in October 2024. These sites are equipped with advanced infrastructure for temperature control and quality management, enabling the company to tailored logistics services for a range of industries—including semiconductors, biotechnology, and medical devices. KWE Korea offers end-to-end, customized logistics solutions covering transportation, storage, customs clearance, packaging, and distribution.
In addition, the KWE Group is developing GxP-certified and GxP-compliant facilities globally, delivering services aligned with international standards to ensure the quality and safety of medical devices.
