Kintetsu World Express Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is the newest member of KWE South Asia commencing operations in Sri Lanka on the 14th October 2019.

Since 1999 the Company operated under the name of Trans Global Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and changed its name to Kintetsu World Express Lanka (Pvt) Ltd after having been accounted for using KWE’s corporate equity method.

Major European and American apparel brands source out of Sri Lanka, growing the country’s exports in textiles and clothing making it one of the main export products.

Other main exports are Tea, Rubber and rubber products, Coconut and coconut products, Spices, Gems and Jewellery.

Located in the East- West trade route Sri Lanka has the ambitions to become a key logistics hub in South Asia.
