CSMS # 69415934  - GUIDANCE: Reduction of Tariffs on Patented Pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Ingredients for Products of the United Kingdom Implemented by Presidential Proclamation 11020

CBP has implemented a reduction of the additional Section 232 tariff from 10% to 0% for qualifying patented pharmaceuticals and associated pharmaceutical ingredients that are products of the United Kingdom, effective 12:01 a.m. ET on July 31, 2026.

CSMS # 69428352  Modifications to the Processing of Post Summary Corrections

Key changes and requirements:

• Effective August 5, 2026, importers/brokers must pay PSC-related increases in duties, taxes, and fees electronically via Automated Clearing House (ACH).
• Payments by check or cash will no longer be accepted.
• This updates prior guidance from January 14, 2017, which allowed payments to be deposited at the port of entry listed on the entry summary.
