USTR Report Suggests Additional 10% to 12.5% Tariff on Countries Not in Compliance with Forced Labor Laws. USTR will hold hearings on the proposed actions on Jul.7th, 2026. A copy of the report is available here. Persons interested in appearing at the hearings can submit requests with a summary of testimony by Jun.22nd, 2026. Written comments are due by Jul.6th, 2026.

Consumer Product Safety Commission’s E-Filing deadline, Jul.8th, 2026. Less than a month away! Products require certification when they are a consumer product, or part of a consumer product that is subject to a consumer product safety rule under the CPSA, or similar rule, ban, standard, or regulation under any other law enforced by the Commission, that is imported for consumption, warehousing, or distributed in commerce, and that is packaged, sold, or held for sale to, or for use by consumers! CPSC administers and enforces several federal statutes.
