Notice of Unauthorized Access Detected at Our Group Company (Update)
In the early hours of May 15, 2026, an anomaly was detected in certain servers at our Singapore subsidiary, KWE-Kintetsu World Express (S) Pte Ltd., and unauthorized access was subsequently confirmed.
We immediately implemented containment and isolation measures for the affected systems.
As a result of this incident, disruptions have occurred in certain air export operations from Singapore and warehouse operations within Singapore.
Since our previous announcement, no material changes have been identified at this time. In addition, no impact has continued to be confirmed on operations outside Singapore or on our core Enterprise Business Systems.
Following the incident, we promptly established an Emergency Response Headquarters and have been responding in accordance with our cybersecurity Business Continuity Plan (BCP). We continue to work with external cybersecurity specialists to investigate the scope and cause of the incident, while proceeding with recovery of the affected systems.
We sincerely apologize for any concern and inconvenience caused to our customers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
We take this situation very seriously and will further strengthen our information security measures while continuing to respond in coordination with relevant authorities.
We will promptly disclose any new material information as it becomes available.
