Notice of Unauthorized Access Detected at Our Group Company (Update – Recovery Status)
We would like to provide an update on the system incident caused by unauthorized access by a third party that occurred in the early hours of May 15, 2026, at our Singapore subsidiary, KWE-Kintetsu World Express (S) Pte Ltd.
Following the incident, the affected systems, which had been temporarily isolated as a precautionary measure, were safely restored and brought back online. Operations impacted by the incident have now returned to normal.
At this time, no impact has been confirmed on operations outside Singapore or on our core Enterprise Business Systems.
Immediately following the incident, we established an Emergency Response Headquarters and have been responding in accordance with our cybersecurity Business Continuity Plan (BCP), working closely with external cybersecurity specialists.
We sincerely apologize for the significant concern and inconvenience caused to our customers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
We take this matter very seriously and will further strengthen our information security management systems while continuing to implement measures to prevent recurrence.
