Their Challenge
When cargo demand at Frankfurt airport exceeded available airline capacity and carrier warehouses ran out of space, cargo was often left exposed to damage from the elements. Transit times were unpredictable and our client, a manufacturer based in Berlin, was no longer able to deliver as agreed to his clients in China.
Our Solution
With available space at Frankfurt limited, KWE expanded the map, considering multiple EU locations as alternative gateways. We settled on Amsterdam, and immediately secured space to Shanghai.
The Results
By securing space through Amsterdam, KWE was able to uplift cargo in time and within the client's requested parameters. The client was able to meet his commitments and deliver the product in time to the end-users in China.
