- Opening Brief filed by the United States at the Supreme Court on September 19, 2025, by Solicitor General D. John Sauer, consolidated with Nos. 24-1287 and 25-250 on the legality of tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Media Advisory posted on September 23, for hearing scheduled for November 5.
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) posts Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #66319804 providing updated entry filing guidance on replacement duties.
- CBP issues CSMS #66311990 on September 22, 2025, providing updated global guidance on duty payments for international mail shipments. Pay.gov will require this new International Mail Duty worksheet and detailed page to submit the data to CBP.
- Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) publishes notice for inclusion of additional derivative steel and aluminum articles under Section 232. Comments due by September 29, 2025.
- BIS publishes Interim Final Rule (IFR) notice to include auto parts not originally considered under 90-FR-14705. Comments due by November 3, 2025.
- Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announces a public consultation process ahead of a review of the Joint Agreement between the United States, Canada, and Mexico vide Federal Register notice
- Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), lists trading partners participating in electronic phytosanitary certification.
