Customer Advisory: Severe Winter Storm Disrupts Operations Across U.S. Northeast
A severe winter storm is impacting the Northeastern United States, bringing heavy snowfall, high winds, and hazardous travel conditions across the region. Blizzard warnings and transportation disruptions have been issued in multiple states.
As a result, several Kintetsu World Express (U.S.A.), Inc. branches are affected on Monday, February 23, 2026:
Office Closures
- Boston (BOS) – Office closed due to blizzard conditions, including high winds and projected snowfall of up to two feet.
- Philadelphia (PHL) – Office closed due to hazardous travel conditions caused by the snowstorm.
- New York (JFK Export / JFK & EWR Import) – JFK Export office and warehouse closed due to winter storm conditions and local blizzard warnings. Limited staff will have access to email. JFK and EWR Import teams are operating remotely.
Operational Impact
Customers may experience service disruptions in the affected areas, including:
- Limited airport operations
- Flight cancellations and delays
- Suspension of local pickups, deliveries, and linehaul services
