Customer Advisory: Mexico Service Update
Following recent unrest in Jalisco State, conditions in Mexico are gradually stabilizing. As of February 25 (17:30 GMT-6), key logistics infrastructure is operating, with services resuming in affected areas.
Operational Status
- Guadalajara Airport (GDL): Terminal and customs are operational. Airline services have resumed, and bonded ground transport between airports has restarted.
- Mexico City (MEX), Felipe Ángeles (NLU), and Monterrey (MTY) Airports: Operating normally with no reported impact.
- Manzanillo Port (MXZLO): All terminals remain operational.
- S.–Mexico Cross-Border Trucking: No reported impact at the border. Some limitations remain for shipments originating from or destined for Jalisco and neighboring states.
Domestic truck deliveries to and from GDL Airport are gradually resuming. Most previously delayed ocean container shipments from Manzanillo have now been delivered, with the remaining shipments scheduled for completion shortly.
While heightened security remains in certain areas, logistics operations continue and there is no broad suspension of shipments at this time. Routes are being evaluated on a case-by-case basis to minimize disruption.
