Glen Belostock
Job title : Vice President, USA IT

Before joining KWE in 1995, Glen worked for a mid-size importer as an IT Manager, responsible for their infrastructure, enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, and electronic data interface (EDI). Glen was inducted to KWE USA as an EDI Specialist within the IT Department, assigned to support customer integrations. He quickly advanced into a management position and undertook responsibilities for several core applications and system projects. In 2006, he was assigned to develop and command both the US EDI team and technical support team. In 2019, Glen was appointed an IT leadership role for the Americas Region, and soon after became the leader of the Global Data Integration team in 2021.
"Virtual Transformation in Five Days"
At the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic in March 2020, companies were strongly challenged to establish social-distancing practices that would permit up to 25% of the workforce to remain on-site as others transitioned to work from home (WFH). In the Americas Region, KWE's IT department sought to implement virtual tools for greater WFH accessibility, security, and work efficiency. Culminating into a five-day department-wide collaboration, the IT department created a remote workspace for a company with branches across America―a feat once thought to be a six-month effort.
The IT leadership team was successfully able to manage their remote teams through high levels of trust across the organization. It was through everyone's acceptance of new technology that supported KWE's determination to provide the highest level of service to its customers. Appreciation can't be expressed enough to the entire KWE family, corporate staff, and the frontline staff who continue to make KWE an extremely rewarding place to work and grow.
