KWE Green Consolidation

Bringing the Environmental Benefits of SAF Closer to You

KWE Green Consolidation is a service that enables the small-lot resale of SAF environmental attributes to customers using our consolidation services. By supporting broader participation in low-carbon transport, the service helps customers advance their decarbonization efforts.

How KWE Green Consolidation Works

KWE Green Consolidation enables the allocation of SAF environmental attributes purchased by KWE to customers using our consolidation services. Customers receive third-party verified CO₂ emissions reduction certificates based on the allocated environmental attributes.

Key Features

  • Small Start Available even for smaller shipments
Customers using KWE's consolidation services can benefit from the environmental attributes of SAF regardless of shipment size.
  • Verified Third-party verified
A CO₂ emissions reduction certificate is issued based on the allocated environmental attributes.
  • Broader Participation Enabling broader participation in lower-carbon air freight
Customers can participate without significantly changing their existing transportation arrangements.

How Green Consolidation Works

Book & Claim Method: The Book & Claim method enables customers to utilize the environmental benefits of SAF through certificates, rather than through the physical delivery of SAF itself.

Why SAF?

What is SAF?

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is an alternative aviation fuel produced from sustainable feedstocks such as used cooking oil and biomass.
Compared with conventional jet fuel, SAF can reduce lifecycle CO₂ emissions by approximately 80%, making it one of the most effective solutions for decarbonizing the aviation industry. Currently, SAF accounts for less than 1% of the global aviation fuel supply. Expanding its use requires collaboration across the entire supply chain, including airlines, shippers, and freight forwarders.
For this reason, SAF is expected to play a vital role in reducing carbon emissions from air freight transportation.
