Florian joined KWE as an export clerk back in 2011, and was part of the Export team that regained a major customer in 2013, contributing to setting up procedures and doing whatever was needed to keep the customer satisfied. In the beginning of 2015, Florian moved to Indoor Sales with responsibility for all Indoor Sales issues within the Baden Wuerttemberg area. He became a Sales Representative at the end of 2016, adding some outdoor activities to his tasks. Florian took over the challenge of Branch Manager in November 2017.

In 2017, I received the chance from KWE to take over the responsibility for the Branch in Stuttgart (STR). It was a tough time in 2017 and 2018 because my first main task was to add some manpower to the existing team. Due to the fact some of our other employees followed the prior Branch Manager in leaving KWE, our remaining team in STR was very shorthanded. Gladly we were able to overcome that phase in a timely way and by the end of 2018 the situation in all our STR-departments (Import, Export, Sales) was finally stabilized and we could look to further develop and improve our daily work.
At the moment, I'm responsible for 16 employees located in our STR Branch. We're in charge of import and export Airfreight shipments within our area (Baden Wuerttemberg), which is in the south of Germany. I'm proud to have a motivated team by my side which is working together and supporting each other all the time. Teamwork is very important, because with a good, efficient team you can manage many challenges and you can react flexibly on new tasks.
KWE is a very traditional and quality driven company, which is highly appreciated by most of our customers. They know KWE's qualities, like very low damage ratio, pro-active information flow and very good customer service. The quality of our work and customer satisfaction is always our number one priority and our customers are aware of that.
During my time in operations (2011 - 2015), I received a good overview of what KWE is able to do. Combined with my experience gained during my (short) trip in our local sales, I appreciate having the operational and the sales point of view.
Together with our excellent gateway (located in Frankfurt) we want to add more lanes to our portfolio and bring some new customers on board as well. I'm looking forward to the next years. My team and myself will do our very best to help that KWE Germany will grow into a bigger player in Germany.
