Jack embarked on his first operations journey in various SME freight forwarding companies as a junior operations staff. With these years of experience, he then joined the KWE family in 2011 working in the Airfreight Department, Export Section as a Customer Service Executive managing a corporate account assigned by the company. Gradually he was presented with and undertook new responsibilities associated with projects for a major communication equipment manufacturer and was progressed to Assistant Manager. Currently, he is the manager based in the Business Development Department responsible for Sales Support & Indoor Sales division activities.
My growth with KWE!
I always believe a company that is task-orientated may describe its culture as strategic, nimble, or innovative. A company that is people-orientated may describe its culture as engaging, collaborative or inclusive. Most companies only concentrate on the task and the result, but KWE is different! I am glad that I have joined a company that is looking at both, and places people as one of the priorities. It was encouraging to work for KWE Singapore that recognizes a work ethic, and I slowly began to work on turning my own weakness into strength. Along the journey, I received a lot of advice and guidance from my mentor and peers that paved the way for me to where I am today, leading a team of 20 staffs.

I value my staffs. With the skills I learned, I have managed to inculcate work passion, high motivation and great ownership spirit within the team. Today, I can proudly share that we have a team that has strong bonding and stability in work operations. The team is equipped with great work knowledge and has high spirit teamwork. With that being said, we have transformed from the traditional practice of just supporting the sales, to a team that is also contributing an average of 10% on Sales Revenue to the Sales Department. The team does have a set of customers of their own. The team has and has always met the set ahead targets. This is a team that created value of its own and has a value of its own.
