Chris Yao joined KWE in 1999 and has been instrumental in the expansion of the Bonded Logistics Park business as a customer service member for Shanghai Kintetsu Logistics (SKL). From 2024, she has been taking on the big challenge of a completely new field as the Administrative Officer in KWE China. Her strength is her ability to understand the situation and feelings of those on the front lines of business. There are many branches of the KWE China. As the Administrative Officer of the Headquarters that oversees them, she gives back knowledge and demonstrates leadership. And she has earned a lot of trust from her colleagues.
My past at KWE
I joined KWE in the year 1999, and was engaged in Customer Service at SKL until February, 2024. In the past 24 years, I grew with KWE, which greatly enriched my working experience and enhanced my personal ability. I witnessed the continuous increase of warehouse area, the rapid growth of business volume and the diversified development of business models. Both the economic benefits brought by our excellent performance and the customer's great trust and support brought by our professional service were attributed to the importance of customer service teamwork, which I led for years.
My future at KWE
At the beginning of 2024, I was transferred from Customer Service at SKL to Administrative Officer at KWE China, which means a big challenge for me that I am not familiar with at all. I still work in the KWE group, while everything is different. My "service object" has changed from external customers to internal employees. My job duty has changed from improving customer satisfaction to how to maintain the overall management of the group and participate in deciding important affairs. I was once in a mess and had no idea of how to deal with the changes. After a period of confusion, I had to regain my confidence and focus on how to solve my problems instead of getting into anxiety. I understand no matter whether we are students or full members of society, we are always growing through continuous learning. Meanwhile, trust and support from my leaders motivate me forward and forward. KWE China is a large organization with over 1600 employees. We must optimize our administrative management system to ensure the efficient operation of the company, give importance to talent training, and increase employees' willingness to contribute to the company through reform of the promotion and salary systems. Though I am still on the way of adapting myself to the role of Administrative Officer, I believe I shall grow with KWE in the new position due to the advantage of my previous 24 years of front-line experience.
