Aiming for a workplace where everyone can shine
I'm assistant manager of the Inside Sales Team, with members from a diverse range of backgrounds. I'm always aware of the need to see things from the other person's point of view when giving advice, and help to improve skills personalized for them by setting work goals together. I am careful to show my team that I respect the opinions and ideas of each member and that I am on their side, so that they can make full use of their competencies. Sometimes tough leadership is needed to move the team along, but more than that, I run the team on a daily basis aiming to be an inclusive leader who values building trust with each member.
And when I am facing a difficult problem, the KWE corporate culture lets me know I'm not alone - that is what I like about KWE. That feeling is what I would like to pass on to my future junior colleagues.
My role in Account Sales
Towards the end of 2023 I took on another role, as account representative of important customers for the sales office. I propose all kinds of solutions so that our customers will stay KWE fans for many years to come. I always stay close to my customers, combining my own experience in customer service, and work to maintain the supply chain they need as an international forwarding, customs clearance, and warehousing 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partner. Sometimes a customer may make a sharp complaint or a hard-to-fulfill request, but when, after an honest confrontation, we come up with a proposal that they agree to, I feel we've been a true business partner and strengthened our relationship with the customer even more. I will keep on providing the kind of painstaking service unique to KWE, in cooperation with my colleagues in Japan and around the world.
