A culture of respect, openness and trust
My remarkable career at KWE Malaysia began in 2012. Back then I had just graduated and was highly ambitious about working for an international logistics company, which was in fact my goal. Over the years, I have had the opportunities to move between various departments in the organization and the kind of exposure I have received has been phenomenal which helped me mold myself into a well-rounded professional. I set foundational goals for myself and once I reach a benchmark, I raise the bar and continue striving for greater heights.
The company fosters a culture of respect, openness and trust. There are many opportunities to talk and brainstorm ideas with superiors and colleagues and we have good team members always willing to provide advice and a helping hand if someone faces difficulties. The openness has made us understand each other more and work better together. I am impressed that my overseas counterparts are also having the same direction and highly motivated. The good culture embraced by us all has made it possible to collaborate towards the same projects efficiently at both origin and destination side. This has become the company's identity and an advantage that makes us different from other companies.
A big family
I realized that on my business trip to Australia in August 2019. Before visiting, both myself and my Australia colleagues communicated closely to organize the business schedule. During the visit, I was enormously impressed by the warm welcome they gave me. We shared both countries' capabilities and strength and visited customers together. After the business time, I was invited to spend the evening time together for dinner. We talked and laughed and this deepened our friendship. Thereafter, we communicate closely, set strategies together and eventually securing more business.
I feel that KWE is like a big family. It is impossible for me to achieve anything without not only my own efforts but also my colleagues' collaboration as well as clear company direction and the motivation of each employee. We have an amazing team of organization here and someday I hope to move beyond my role and be part of helping the company reach its maximum potential.
